It did not appear to us that they tested it so I guess they just didn't believe us. Just before we left, I walked back to the restrooms and the two people in front of me got directed by a waitress to ride the elevator up to the restrooms. It is clear that they are not communicating with each other. We did not ask for anything and when the check came, they had NOT comped us for anything. He had NOT been made aware and he was very apologetic and asked if he could do anything for us. He came at the end of our meal after we asked again. We told our waitress about it and that we would like to talk to the manager because one did not come and talk to us. They apologized and we were seated while my wife climbed the stairs to get to the main restrooms since the family one on the first floor was busy. She had texted me for help and I had sent a hostess when I got it. But eventually it opened again on the first floor. No one talked to her - only static noises. She got stuck for about 8 minutes and had to hit the call button. My wife went looking and signs directed her to the elevator to the second floor, which is probably 25-30 feet up. This was when we first arrived and the main restrooms are upstairs. The BIG problem was how they handled my wife getting stuck in the elevator. Wait staff took a long time to show up, but were friendly. It took a long time to get a table even though there were plenty available. My pork chop was really good including the vegetables that were both flavorful and well cooked. Moreįirst, let me say the food was great! My wife had the Salmon dinner and it was very good albeit the sauce was a bit spicy for her taste. It is my sincere hope that Pinstripes takes the necessary steps to improve their management's response to disruptive situations and enhances the overall culinary experience they offer. While the establishment has potential with its appealing ambiance and pleasant staff, the failure to handle disruptive guests and the underwhelming quality of the food overshadowed these positive aspects. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend Pinstripes to others seeking a peaceful and enjoyable dining experience. However, the overall experience suffered significantly due to the management's failure to address the noise issue promptly and the subpar quality of the food. Additionally, the time it took for the waitstaff to attend to our needs was noticeably long, resulting in frustratingly prolonged waiting periods between courses and for basic requests.ĭespite these disappointments, it is important to mention that the service staff was friendly and attempted to accommodate our needs to the best of their ability. The flavors were uninspiring, and the presentation lacked the attention to detail one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Our expectations were not met, as the dishes we ordered turned out to be merely average. Consequently, our own conversation was continually drowned out, detracting from the intended relaxed atmosphere we had hoped for.Ĭompounding the issue was the lackluster quality of the food. Our polite requests for the guests to lower their voices were met with indifference, and the manager's response fell short of resolving the issue effectively. While I understand that it is challenging for a restaurant to control the behavior of its patrons entirely, it is disheartening that the staff made minimal effort to address the disruptive table. Despite their disruptive behavior, the management's response to our concerns was lackluster, resulting in a frustrating and subpar experience. However, our optimism quickly faded as the guests at the adjacent table began shouting and conversing at an uncomfortably high volume. The staff courteously seated us at our table after a 45 minute wait. Upon entering Pinstripes, I was immediately drawn to its charming ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. lasting negative impression on my dining experience. The excessive noise from the neighboring table, coupled with mediocre food and slow service, left a. My recent visit to Pinstripes left much to be desired, as I encountered a series of disappointments that affected both the atmosphere and the overall enjoyment of the meal.
